Max verstappen watch8/27/2023 The watch is quite expressive, thanks to more colour play on the dial and bracelet. More red is seen on the hands and on one of the pushers and the crown. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Calibre 16 Max Verstappen has a black dial with applied indices with red details. One more racing detail is seen on the dial, which says “Formula 1”. The case is water-resistant to 200 metres (20 bar). The Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team logo and the starting number of Max Verstappen underpinned by the chequered flag are also engraved on the caseback. The screwed-down caseback also shows that this is not an ordinary piece: it is engraved with the production number. The most striking detail on this special edition is to be seen on the bezel, which is decorated with that famous name in red engraving: Max Verstappen. It comes in a 44 mm steel case, that has polished and brushed surfaces. So that means this is an automatic chronograph with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), date indication, a 42-hour power reserve and three counters (at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock). That is not completely accurate, however, as TAG Heuer also uses Sellita SW500 movements. Still it would be great to see a mechanical Max Verstappen Special Edition at some point. But realising that most fans of Formula 1 (and Max Verstappen in special) are not as much into watches as we are it makes sense somehow. We think that a mechanical watch would greatly link to motor sports or Formula 1 racing in special. It has been so much fun to do this reveal in my home country!”Īlthough we would have loved to see Tag Heuer doing a mechanical watch they came up with a quartz version. It will remind me of my challenges and my performances to always do better. Athletes are quite fetishist, and this number 33 is always with me now, on my wrist, with this special edition. For all the fans out there the watch will be on sale in the Netherlands exclusively. This number is also engraved on the caseback together with the Red Bull Racing logo. The watch is limited to 533 pieces and it will be available from September 2017. Therefore he drives with number 33 which is double the luck as he explained.
